Steps of International Transportations
There are 12 steps of international transportations.
These are same worldwide including Bangladesh.
1. Pick up from Shippers Premises: Load and pick up from shippers premises.
2. Export Formalities & Fees: Customs procedure for export and related fees.
3. Pre-Carriage: Transportation from exporters warehouse to sea port or air port or land port.
4. Delivery at Airport/SeaPort Terminal: Delivery at airport terminal or sea port terminal or land port terminal.
5. Loading alongside aircraft/vessel: Loading into container, pallet before loading into aircraft or vessel.
6. Onboard aircraft/ship: Onboard container or pallet into aircraft or vessel
7. Main Carriage: Main Transportation by aircraft or vessel.
8. Discharge at Destination Airport/Port: Discharge at destination airport or seaport or landport.
9. Delivery at Airport/Port Terminal: Delivery at airport terminal or sea port terminal or landport terminal.
10. Customs Clearance, Duty Tax Payment: Customs clearance at airport terminal or sea port terminal or landport terminal and payment of duty taxes.
11. Onward Carriage: Transportation from airport or sea port or land port to importers premises.
12. Delivery at Importers Premises: Unload and Delivery at Importers premises.
